Who can use StrikeWard

StrikeWard is for businesses and other organisations. You must be at least 18 and have authority to accept these terms for your organisation.

The service

StrikeWard is software that helps you track security findings, risks, policies, vendors, incidents and compliance readiness. We may improve or change features over time. Features marked "Coming soon" are not part of the service until they are released.

No certification or professional advice

StrikeWard helps you prepare for audits and assessments. It does not certify, accredit or audit your organisation, and using it does not mean you comply with any standard, framework or law. Only an accredited certification body or a qualified auditor can do that. Guidance, scores, ratings and AI-generated content are for information only. They are not legal, compliance or professional security advice, and you are responsible for checking them before you rely on them.

Security guidance, not a guarantee

StrikeWard provides security guidance and tooling. It does not prevent, detect or guarantee protection against any breach, attack, outage or audit outcome, and no tool or service can. You decide whether and how to act on findings and recommendations, and you are responsible for remediation and for the security of your own systems, data and people.

Scores, findings, ratings and AI-generated or automated output are advisory. They may be incomplete or wrong, so check them before you rely on them.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details secure. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your organisation's accounts and for the people you invite.
  • Tell us straight away if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • scan, test or monitor domains, systems or applications you do not own or have permission to assess. You confirm you have authority over any domain, system, account or integration you connect or test;
  • try to access another organisation's data or get around security or plan limits;
  • upload malware, or content that is unlawful or that you have no right to use;
  • use the service to send spam or misleading messages;
  • overload, reverse engineer or disrupt the service, except for security research that follows our responsible disclosure policy.

Your data

You own the content you put into StrikeWard. You give us permission to host, process and display it only so we can provide the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Founding offer

The Founding 19 offer gives the first 19 organisations free access to StrikeWard for an introductory period of 3 months from sign-up. It is not permanent. After that period, continued use requires a paid subscription at the plan prices then published. We will tell account owners before the free period ends, no card is taken for the offer, and you can cancel or export your data at any time.

Plans, trials and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Trials end on the date shown, and if no plan is chosen, access may be limited. If you downgrade or stop paying, we keep your existing records for a reasonable period so you can export them.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time in Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. We don't give refunds for partial periods or unused time, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it, for example if the service has a major failure. Fees for professional services are refunded only as set out in the statement of work. To ask about a refund, email privacy@strikeward.com.

Availability

We aim to keep StrikeWard available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out planned maintenance.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for any security breach, attack, data loss or compliance failure affecting you or your customers, except to the extent we caused it by breaching these terms;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption or losses from security incidents or third-party actions we did not cause;
  • our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; for free or founding access this means a nominal amount to the extent the law allows;
  • where the law lets us limit liability for breach of a consumer guarantee, we limit it to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

Professional services

Cloud security, penetration testing and advisory services are provided under a signed statement of work and our professional services terms.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. When the agreement ends, you can ask us to export or delete your data.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of [State], Australia. If we make major changes to these terms, we will tell account owners. Questions: privacy@strikeward.com.
